A little bit about...
Me:
Hi, I am Alicia the Overly Anxious Writer.

In fact, I was that overly anxious I cried over writing this about me page. Let that sink in I cried over page no one who isn’t my mum will read for at least a year. If you are in fact reading this and it is still the year 2023, then hi thanks for reading. Let me say my anxiety isn’t the only thing about. I was born and raised in Switzerland, completing my formal education in German, and returned to England in my late teen’s complete further education. I now have a BA in Creative Writing, despite my dyslexia’s best efforts to sabotage me. Before you ask yes, I am dyslexic in both German and English and no, I also didn’t know you could only be dyslexic in one before I googled it.
this blog
So, what is this blog for?

It’s a place I can document and reflect on my experiences as I continue to work towards my goal of becoming a writer. To share some of my creative works, mainly fiction but, I dabble in other forms of writing and my views on other’s work threw reviews as a reader. Essentially, this is a way for me to express self and hopefully help other aspiring writers through my failures and successes.

And you know there’s a long waiting list for therapy at the moment.
